These biscuits are spoon drop not rolled and cut. My kids call them a crunchy biscuit.
Cook time: 20 Min Prep time: 25 Min
Ingredients
2 c all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c shortening
1 c milk or buttermilk
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Add flour to a large bowl. Add in salt and baking powder. Add shortening. With a fork mix and crumble up shortening in flour. Add milk or buttermilk. Mix well until it feels elastic to fingers.
2. In a cake pan, spoon dough in. Bake in preheated oven for 20 min or until golden brown.
3. Serve warm.
